Collection of traditional attire from Mljet, Lastovo and Pelješac

This collection consists of women’s traditional attire from the end of the 19th and early 20th century characteristic of the cultural area of the Adriatic.

The permanent display exhibits examples of women’s attire for special occasions from the islands of Mljet and Lastovo, as well as from Orebić on the Pelješac peninsula.

The traditional jewellery in the collection comprises a large number of rings, necklaces or kolarini or coral and silver beads, golden brooches, heart pins as well as golden earrings or gradaši.
